Sarah served OAGC with tireless dedication, upholding our motto to "Know, Grow, Show and Share". The following is a poem that Sarah wrote.
GROWING MY WAY
The flower beds have been weeded,
And caladiums planted in pots.
The beauty of my garden succeeded,
And delights adults and tots.
I fill the feeders to the brim
And watch the birds without a care
As they come in and fill the rim with song,
As they fly back through the air.
My term as president is almost through,
My porch swing is calling me to come sit.
I am not finished. I have much to do.
I must continue to plant a bit.
To know and grow, to show and share.
This is what I have learned should be,
And that is what I must be aware
So let the growing to God be.
