REGION
I FULTON COUNTY FAIR FLOWER SHOW will be held at the Fulton County
Fairgrounds from September 3 to September 9, 2010.
The first flower show judging is on September 3rd and
the second flower show judging is on September 7th. “TOURING
THE U.S.A.” is the theme for this year’s flower show. The
color theme for the “BIG GARDEN” is “RED, WHITE and BLUE”

The Des Fleurs Garden Club in Oxford is hosting our biannual garden
tour, featuring seven gardens with unique collections of plants and varied
environments. The tour is on Saturday June 12 from 10 AM til 4 PM and Sunday
June 13 from 11 AM til 4 PM. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 the day of
the event. Tickets may be purchased at Shademaker's Nursery, Mary's Plant
Farm, Adopt-a Plant, Kroger's in Oxford or the Whistle Stop. For more

The Champaign County Federation of Garden Clubs will
be hosting an evening with Sharon Rosberg of The Cool Blue Garden of
Cincinnati, Ohio. The event will take place on Monday April 12th at the
Urbana United Methodist Church Parish beginning at 7 p.m. Sharon will doing
her most popular presentation entitled "How Women
Garden Differently Than Men". The talk is a very humorous look at the
divergent way the two sexes approach America's most popular past time. There
will be a fashion show, tool demo and a boutique of plants for sale. This
